Up for sale is a true California ‘rust-free’ 1979 MG MGB which still wears its original white paint and pin striping. This fully documented B spent its entire life in southern CA up until the current owner purchased the car 11 years ago. Current mileage showing is 99,000 of which only 5,000 were put on the B in the past 11 years.
Detailed maintenance records are included dating back to when the B came over and was sold in CA. Even a new smog pump was added during its tenure out west (belt in the trunk).
There have been 3 prior owners who were apparently all friends and kept the car in fantastic condition.
There is no rust anywhere on the body and it has never been in an accident nor had bodywork. There are a few ‘age’ related bumps and scratches (see photos), but all in all this B is in excellent condition.
Records show the interior and top were re-done about 11 years ago, new rosewood steering wheel, a new battery and tires were added about 6 years ago, and a new clutch pack 5 years ago.
The MG starts and drives great shifting the 83 h.p. four-cylinder through the 4-gears are a pure pleasure and a raspy sounding exhaust using a MagnaFlow muffler system adds to the excitement. Tonneau cover, original jack with matching knock-off wire-wheel spare is included.
All of the factory gauges work, including the clock and radio.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
